Prob with X and kernels i compile !!!

Hi,

I've probs in runing X with kernels i compile !!!

I've an S3 Virge and I use XFree-3.3.2 !

X works when i use a kernel which came with the RedHat 5.0 distribution (already compiled), but
it doesn't when i compile my own kernel like 2.0.33+34pre16 !!! :(
Ne1 experiences with such a thing ???
