I have to apologize to you and all on this list. I had compiled the
kernel with egcs 1.02 and optimization set to -O12. When the errors
started to appear I just forgot about this. I'm very sorry about this
confusion!

I've started testing again with gcc 2.7.2.3 and standard options and
don't expect any more errors.
