(harmless?) race in module loading.

I just noticed the following entry in on my syslog monitor:
May 18 22:27:58 dwmw2 insmod: /lib/modules/2.1.101/misc/pcsnd.o: a module named pcsnd already exists

Upon further investigation, it's fairly easy to trigger it - if a process
attempts to access the device, causing a modprobe, and a second process
attempts to open the device before the first modprobe has finished, then a
second one will be forked.

Does this matter?
