I've uploaded pre15. This backs the inode change out of pre14. The newer
inode stuff would have checked and handled some possible but unproven inode
races. Unfortunately it couldnt handle NFS and could deadlock there.

I've made one change to the 3c59x driver. For vortex (3c59x) cards it now
has bus mastering disabled. If that doesnt work then back to the old one
alas.
