linux-kernel and/or vger exploder is broken

There is still intermittent message loss of linux-kernel. My mail
server never received the following message ids from linux-kernel. I
found some of them on the archives at linuxhq so they obviously leave
vger and get to some users *but not all users*. Other subscribers in
Melbourne have seen the same symptoms.

199804221321.PAA17863@mailrelay.fb.sony.de
Pine.LNX.3.95.980426110349.6237A-100000@penguin.transmeta.com
Pine.LNX.3.95.980416193236.10485D-100000@penguin.transmeta.com
199804161612.RAA18547@odie.barnet.ac.uk
199804170248.TAA09698@adam.yggdrasil.com
199804162059.OAA18879@nago.cs.colorado.edu
199804161713.KAA19447@adam.yggdrasil.com

Pine.LNX.3.95.980426110349.6237A-100000@penguin.transmeta.com was cross
posted to linux-kernel and linux-smp, I only got the linux-smp copy, I
normally get both for cross posted mail.

The above list is not exhaustive, by definition I only know if mail is
missing when a reply appears to an original I never received. If there
is no reply, I cannot easily detect missing mail. For example, I never
received David Miller's reply to
Pine.LNX.3.96.980423222148.324A-100000@pasuuna.clarinet.fi but I have
no idea what the message id on DM's missing message was.

<rant>
This problem has been raised before by myself and others, I have mailed
to vger-exploders and postmaster@anu.edu.au (local exploder) without
response. Could we please get this investigated.
