linux v2.0.34pre11b and aha-2940uw

hello

my smp computer wont boot with linux v2.0.34pre11b + 5.0.14 aic7xxx patch
v2.0.33 works ok for me ...

with pre11b i got lots of
(scsi0:-1:-1:-1) Bad SCBPTR 16 during SETLO.
(scsi0:-1:-1:-1) Refrenced SCB 255 not valid during SETLO.
SCSISEQ=0x5a SEQADDR=0x8 SSTAT0=0x10 SSTAT1=0x8a

and some timeout messages. this happens while the driver
scans the scsi bus ID2 ... but i have no ID2 scsi device!
