Parallel ECP/EPP ---> keyboard timeout !

Some time ago I wrote to this list reporting that starting from kernel
2.1.91 and up my keyboard timeouts just after the detection of my HardDisk.
Soon after I figured out that by using pgcc instead of gcc I worked. I was
*so* wrong, but since it worked ... ;)

Strangely as it may seem, the *real* problem is that when I change my
parallel port mode in my Award BIOS 4.51PG (from 03/03/1997) to ECP/EPP DMA
3, the problem occurs. With EPP it works FINE!!

Now what does the mode of my parallel port has to do with my keyboard? Some
DMA conflict? And why would the keyboard driver use DMA?

Beats me. :P
