Hello, all,
I've looked at the sound-HOWTO, and the sound-playing-HOWTO, and at
the sound sources, and still I am confused as to what has happened to
/dev/audio. I've seen this question asked here before, but I never saw
an answer.
The CONFIG_AUDIO option is no longer a possible choice during
the configuration process (though code still exists that depends
on it, in e.g. soundcard.c) - so what is the proper alternative?
Many thanks (for answers, and also for a great OS),
