I can confirm this. It happens to me when I do a ls of a smbfs
mounted directory exported from a Windows 95 box. I took care of
enabling the Windows 95 bugs workarounds when mounting.

Something is wrong with smbfs in the latest kernels, and I don't know
how to fix it :-(
