Compile error with 2.0.34pre9

I get the following when trying to compile with fat/msdos/vfat support:

fatfs_syms.c:19: parse error
fatfs_syms.c:56: parse error
fatfs_syms.c:63: parse error
fatfs_syms.c:61: parse error before `int'
fatfs_syms.c:66: warning: missing braces around initializer for `fat_syms.symbol[29]'
fatfs_syms.c:24: warning: `fat_syms' defined but not used
