Nice work of you all out there, this works like a charm for me like all
the other kernels has done=)

Of course there was some error in system.h, which i hopefully fixed in a
good way(it compiled at least=), I also got some other errors that i dont
know about and i didnt catch them before they where off screen:/.

The IP frag exploit does no longer work on me either, all it gives is a
LONG list of errors on the screen while using nestea.c on myself but who
cares about some errors when i dont need to reboot=).

Now to the strange part. The 'makebootdisk' tools will hang while making
an LILO bootdisk(in kernel 2.1.95 and making 2.1.97 bootdisk). This has
_never_ locked up the machine before(mind you, i got copies of all the
last 15 kernels i have had installed at any time). When i say lock up, i
mean TOTAL lockup, SysReq, console switching and scroll up wont work at
all. First time this happened i thought it was me getting an IP frag
exploit so i just rebooted(big red button) and stayed offline until i
would have the new kernel in place, however, this time the only thing I
had running was the makebootdisk tools and it locked dead on me again. The
procedure repeated itself 5 times yesterday night and then i went to bed
when i rebooted the computer one last time(and forgetting to replace the
badly installed new kernel). Today when i woke up again I thought 'oh
well, why not give it a try' and it did work....it worked/works perfectly
so far...

My system looks like this:
Cyrix 586 100MHz
gcc 2.8.1
libc 5.4.44
ld.so 1.9.6
Most of the rest is slackware 3.2

swipnet:/lib# uname -a
Linux swipnet 2.1.97 #8 SMP Mon Sep 14 03:46:11 MET DST 1998 i486

Anything more you need to know?
