[off topic] OPCODE illegalization

Out of curiousity, how does Linux illegalize F0 0F C7 C8? As in, when a
program that executes that code is run, it SIGILL's. How does Linux see
this? Similarly, how does Linux catch cli()?

On a secondary note, I got the same error w/"Assembler messages" from
stdin. Hmm.

P.S. Everyone is talking about pre-2.0.34. Why isn't it in ftp.kernel.org?
