I have a question mabye someone can help me with?

I have an Iomega ZIP connected to Lpt1: in DOS and /dev/lp1 in linux,
SCSI enabled, and PPA enabled. I have an EPP parallall port. During
boot, SCSI reports "0 hosts found", even though my ZIP is connected to
the port. Is this cause the PPA driver in kernel 2.0.33 doesn't support
EPP, or because of something else? Also i set the PPA_baseaddress to
0x03F8. Is this correct for /dev/lp1? Thanks to anyone who can answer
this
