Linux-Linux is a tcpdump of sessions between two 1.2.90 machines.
The speed seems to be fine and the amount of data received per
read is fairly constant.

Linux-sun is a tcpdump of sessions between a 1.2.90 linux machine
and my Sun. The speed is slow and the amount of data received per
read varies widely.

Thanks, but could you please not send such huge mime attachments to
