I am also running 2.1.90 with the SoundBlaster module. I tried removing
the module after reading your message and discovered that it caused an
OOPS.

I am using gcc 2.8.1, binutils 2.8.1, and modutils-2.1.85.

Just thought I'd let you know that it wasn't just EGCS. Now if you'll
excuse me, I must go reboot so 'lsmod' will work again.
