net-tools and dropped packets

Well after compiling net-tools, (thanx mike :)) I fired up my PPP
connection and lo and behold what did I find? Once again, the same
problem that net-tools doesn't solve, dropped packets and error all over
the place....there's even some in local loopback......I hope we can get
this fixed as this really makes the net hard to live with with a 28.8
connection and a TON of constant dropped packets and errors in the
routing code......<sigh>
