I still cannot get fully working sound with 2.1.90 and GUS.
The symptoms are that sound players
never finish without being actually killed. Someone straced
this a while ago and noticed that exit syscall never finished.
I got a different result, my stracing showed that the close()
on /dev/dsp never finishes. Seems to me that something is
looping madly, dma release code maybe? I took a peek inside
the sound driver, but it was not-so-revealing <G> and I'd
rather not blindly blame a random for-loop by saying "this
can never exit"..
