netscape.osf vs. 2.1.89

I have 2.1.89 compiled with egcs-1.0.2. It otherwise works great, but
the OSF netscape binary I have aborts with a floating exception:

icarus.icarus.com % /usr/local/bin/netscape.osf -install

Floating exception

dmesg reported:
netscape.osf: arithmetic trap at 00000000120dfddc: 21 0100000000000000

Will 2.1.90 work better?
