Can someone tell me where I can information about the kernel profiling
support? Where can I get utils, information etc. What is being profiled?
Systemcalls only, or also waitqueues? Pointers, info, all welcome.
While busy developping a Process Resource Manager for Linux (like HP-UX
10.x's one) I was having a hard time monitoring the systems performance.
If the current profiling information is too sparse, I suggest we need
something like HP-UX's glance too. (Glance is ane execellent performance
monitoring tool).
