No fair. I'm running XFree86 3.3.1b, and it's rock solid on the Millennium II,
where the basic 3.3.1 was fairly flaky. They might not acknowledge the
mountains of mail they get very efficiently but they're definitely
addressing the known problems.
(I say "they", because I'm not personally involved - I only have access to the
development archives through someone else here who _is_ involved. I felt I
ought to step in to defend them though.)
I'm not really paying attention to the X stuff other than upgrading to the
latest source I can find on the local network whenever I have a problem, but I
am led to believe that a concerted effort to put 3.3.2 out the door is in
operation.
