Transparent Proxy in 2.0.33 Working?

Can anyone comment on whether Transparent Proxying has been fixed in =
.33? =20

I've heard that .30+ had problems and so, before I begin trying to =
implement this myself, I want to make sure that all the parts work =
before I start pulling my hair out in frustration - thinking that *I'm* =
doing something wrong when it will never work anyway.
