2.0.33 Instability?

This problem occured while using timidity and an irc client.
Nothing unusal happening at the time, just had loaded netscape, the gimp,
acrobot reader, and quake 2 under XFree86 due to boredum. But, these
programs were already closed at the time, and so only the one irc client,
timidity (compiled with pgcc 1.0.1 if that matters, and ran as an ordinary
user), and two idling bash's, again nothing unusual. Then this appears!
The screen flooded with kernel errors, about killing interrupt, etc. I do
not remember exactly, since it has happened before. I have no idea what is
the specific cause of this problem. This has only happened under 2.0.33. I
have not tested whether this problem occurs other different kernels (hard
because there is no good way to reproduce). I once thought it was heat
related (heat generated by my Canopus Pure3d maybe), but the problems occured
also before installing the card. (of course after installing 2.0.33).

So, any idea what is wrong? Should I downgrade kernels or try 2.0.34-pre2?
(Going to compile 2.0.34-pre2 now.)
