I am recieving the same error, just trying to do standard NFS nothing
special but on a different kernel version.

this kernel 2.0.33

i am trying to mount an AIX 4.1.1 volume (in this case /usr/linux)
where my most recent download of Slackware 3.4 resides...

NFS is compiled as a module, I do not get an Oops or anything just the
same error.

Could is be possible that the utils (maybe mount etc..) might need to be
updated on our ends?
