Those Stupid Modules Messages...

I was under the impression that the stupid "Unable To Load Module
^X^X^X^X" messages had been fixed in 2.1.85

My 2.1.86 today produced this:

Feb 12 09:31:32 busconductor modprobe: can't locate module
^M[^A@^Py^??T+^I@^Pr

It is not producable like it was before (ie telnet to machine and get
message is syslog), and this is the only so far, but there must still be
some strange bug lurking about. (You can just TELL I'm a kernel hacker,
can't you? ;)
