In the last month happened two times that our server had serious trouble with an ext2 file system.

When that thing occur the row "Attempt to access beyond end of
device" was printed in /var/adm/messages, referring to device 08:01
(/dev/sda1) and the row "EXT2-fs error (device 08:01):
ext2_check_blocks_bitmap: Wrong free blocks count for group 290,
stored = 4255, counter = 4028" was printed in /var/adm/syslog.

On the first time I though that was an hardware trouble, but
/dev/sda is a RAID-1 mirrored HD, so I'm not sure that it was damaged.

There wasn't relevant changes to our applications in the last three months.

Can anyone help me finding the problem?

Often, problems like this are symptomatic of bad RAM chips. You might
want to check out the SIG11 FAQ at http://www.bitwizard.nl/sig11/.
