If the ServeRAID is connected to the AHA-7880 by an ordinary SCSI cable,
then probably all the RAID functions are being handled by the PowerPC
board and it's presenting itself to the Adaptec host as a single hard
drive. The fact that it has a microprocessor suggests that that's how it
works. If that's the case, I'd expect an ordinary SCSI adaptor to work in
place of the Adaptec.

The 4.1 driver says it can handle multiple cards, but it wouldn't hurt to
try disabling that one.
