netstat -n says first:
Active Internet connections (w/o servers)
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address State
tcp 0 724 192.168.27.1:119 192.168.27.1:1368 ESTABLISHED
tcp 5097 0 192.168.27.1:1368 192.168.27.1:119 ESTABLISHED
but lateron when gnus hangs:
$ netstat -n|grep 119
tcp 0 12021 192.168.27.1:119 192.168.27.1:1368 ESTABLISHED
tcp 0 0 192.168.27.1:1368 192.168.27.1:119 ESTABLISHED
The same setup is working with 2.1.79 without problems (on i486 with
glibc 2.1 development version, inn 1.7.1).
I'm using 2.1.84 with the network related patches from Alan's patch
(2.1.82-alan.patch.gz). Plain 2.1.84 was even worse :-(.
Any ideas what might be wrong - or how I can investigate it myself?
Andreas
