The Gods are not angry with you, they are just having a joke at you
expense. You'll find they moved your printer and that it is now connected
to lp0 ...

Actually it's an effect of the parport code not hardwaring lp's to
io/irq's ...

PS annother gotcha is not commenting the "SMP=1" line in the top level
Makefile (but you noticed that one ;)
