I've reported that at least a year ago, but nobody was interested in
fixing it. So my kernel patch for that problem looks similair to yours:-)

I guess a better fix for the problem would be, to not define the not
implemented mmap flags (MAP_INHERIT, etc.) to user land and rebuild glibc.
