AFAIK no, only floppy, SCSI, IDE and QIC-02 drives.

According to v1.7.1 (an old one) of the Ftape-HOWTO:

Generally, ALL drives that connect to the parallel port are NOT
supported. This is because these drives [use] (different) proprietary
interfaces, that are very much different from the QIC-117 standard.
