Hi, gang

Ah must be d'only one experiencin' dis here problem, it seems.

On bootup, I get
...
Floppy drive(s): fd0 is 1.44M, fd1 is 1.2M
more enable_irq(6)'s than disable_irq(6)'s!!
FDC 0 is a post-1991 82077
scsi-ncr53c7,8xx : at PCI bus 0, device 8, function 0
scsi-ncr53c7,8xx : NCR53c810 at memory 0xe4000000, io 0x6100, irq 15
<hang>

Checking the diff I discovered that the ~/arch/i386/irq.c has been
somewhat modified and found myself quite out of depth.

Something else. When including SoftOSS, the kernel build flunks with
"devc" being unreferencable [this word should be included in the next
edition of the Oxford, Websters and similar publications] due to a
(somewhat overzealous ?) statification [ditto] of said structure (I
think).
