Good, glad to hear it's working.
One tip on testing for reconnection -- instead of waiting for the server
to drop the connection, you can change the share property to "not
shared", apply it, then change it back to shared. The next attempt to
access the share from smbfs will fail on a "tree id invalid" and
initiate the reconnection process.
