They are two distinct devices with different lun values. To wit:

Vendor: MATSHITA Model: PD-1 LF-1001 Rev: A105
Type: Optical Device ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Detected scsi removable disk sdc at scsi0, channel 0, id 2, lun 0
Vendor: MATSHITA Model: PD-1 LF-1001 Rev: A105
Type: CD-ROM ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Detected scsi CD-ROM sr0 at scsi0, channel 0, id 2, lun 1

No special magic here. Seems to me they would all be placed in /dev/dsk
with other disks and roms. I'm guessing they would become:
/dev/sd_h0c0t2u0 and
/dev/sd_h0c0t2u1
