where fd is a UDP AF_INET socket in the connected state. Appended are
some choice words from /var/log/kernel. The system becomes extremely
slow/unresponsive. Control-\ does not seem to kill the offending
process. Fortunately I was able to run through SysReq-s, SysReq-k and
ctrl-alt-del a few times and then the system managed to umount discs
before shutting down.
