2.1.76 PPP UDP

I've just tried 2.1.76. It seems that I can't receive UDP packets over
a PPP link. The remote machine receives the packets and TCPDUMP indicates
that it's sending appropriate responses. But I get nothing received and no
messages in syslog.

Do I need a new pppd? I'm running 2.3.2...
