Sigh. Just don't believe SGI's gfx hardware makes less headache. The
concepts SGI is using are unusual for those only familiar with PC gfx
hardware and Even the gfx hardware in SGI's older boxes like the Indy is
already quite complex; newer hardware like the O2 needs funny extra
support for example in the vm subsystem. IRIX is full of goodies
supporting the various gfx hardware available from SGI. Makes ``trivial''
things like running the IRIX Xsgi server under Linux a very interesting
project.
