What sort of project? It might be profitable to sell a linux based analyzer
for small exchanges. Tcpdumping an ATM/SMDS trunk line would be cool. Looking
at the blue book specs (Q.700-Q.716) I would say this is a *major* project.
Not to mention finding suitable hardware interfaces.
