SCSI problems in 2.1.65

I am one of those poor users using ancient 8-bit SCSI cards on
a 486-66. But it has worked with kernels from 0.99 to 2.0.21.

I just tried 2.1.65 and got an error I have not seen before:

scsi0: unexpected interrupt.

As the (edited) dmesg dump below shows, this occurs while trying
to scan the SCSI bus for devices. I have a hard drive, CD-ROM,
floppy drive and tape drive on it, and they work fine in 2.0.21.

If this is a known bug, I would appreciate a quick "known problem,
upgrade to Ver 2.1.##".

If it is not a known bug, I can provide more information on
request.
