My problems with nested NFS mounts were caused by autofs' lack of support
for the notion (I know, RTFM.. yeah, yeah).
At any rate, I'm able to perform this function by hand at the moment.
Today I'm going to give am-utils (re-written Berkeley automounter) a try
and see if it is able to support this type of construct.
