Perhaps I'm confused. Isn't mtime what the 'ls -al' (aliased to 'dir' on
my system) shows? If so, WfW _never_ gets this timestamp. It used to
work that way, but not for some time.
On the server side it always ends up with the time the copy is created.
This is against WfW. See my (lengthy) posting of a few moments ago and
check out the fun and merriment when run against NT Workstation on my
Alpha UDB!
