malloc()

I use libc-5.4.17. I had trouble compiling the newer libc and gave up.
I notice that if malloc() is given the value of "INT_MAX", defined in
limits.h, it will crash with a core-dump, never returning to the
caller. It should return NULL for something it can't do.

If someone has a newer libc that works, please verify that this bug
no longer exists. Thanks.
