Perhaps I'm being the devils advocate here, but there are two server
licenses - a five user license is ~$1295 and an unlimited user license is
~$1295 extra. Of course, you can get up to a 35% discount off that
depending on who you are. That's very cheap for a commerical Unix.
Compare that to $1800 for an NT five user server license (with email).

SCO is priced similar to NT. Still doesn't come close to the price of linux
however. $2600 will get you a *lot* of support from Cygnus. And source
license for the linux kernel is a tad cheaper too ;)
