-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Corruption experienced during use of linux-2.0.31-pre10.

"free" showed:

total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 78356 59540 18816 34396 9312 32300
- -/+ buffers/cache: 17928 60428
Swap: 28220 25652 2568

"ps max" had about 40K (from one process) in swap though -- all zeroes
else.

My "memwatch" kept killing X because of this, so I couldn't use the
console; I had to reboot from my Wyse. Otherwise I would have done
the various SCROLL_LOCK combinations.

Also had mysterious X behavoir: froze a few times, had to kill
subprocesses, sometimes X itself.

No time to diagnose, sorry.

FYI was compiling 2.1 when it happened. Got a "gcc sig 14" during it,
not reproducable; suggests hardware error, my computer's first (Dell,
new in '95).
