long standing kernel crashes, story update:

we experienced very rare, but reproducible memory corruptions on an Intel
Marl board, causing EIDE Triton DMA related oopses in the kernel. These
crashes are now traced back to this Intel chipset erratum:

> ---
> An erratum to the A1 stepping of the 82371SB PCI ISA IDE
> Xcelerator (PIIX3) requires that the option for Delayed Transactions
> be turned off by the BIOS.
> [...]
> This erratum was fixed [...] with BIOS revision 1.00.06.DBO.
> ---

after the above Flash BIOS upgrade, all those (very very rare and very
strange) EIDE+Triton DMA crashes went away.

(thanks Lajos for tracing this back)
