Any news on MicroChannel support?

A friend of mine works at a company that is throwing out what appears to
be one of the last MCA machines ever made. I haven't seen it, but he says
it's a 486/66 with 8MB RAM and an MCA SCSI card (!). It has some kind of
old SCSI optical drive on it.

I'm sure I can salvage the optical drive and use it in my system (which
is rapidly getting to be a Frankenstein monster of cobbled parts :-> ),
but it seems a shame to waste an actual 486 (if indeed it is such) on DOS.

Is there any news on MCA support? Does anyone have a URL or even an
email contact? I'd be happy to volunteer this machine as a test bed.
Maybe I'll even develop a SCSI driver if such is needed...
