I have found a minor problem in in my DMA patch, thus I don't think that
it is ready to go into the kernel, yet. Since it it is just a minor
problem which I don't expect to do any harm, I would still like people to
try out the existing patch. I will try to solve this issue within a few
days.
Probably I will also include the Ultra DMA support, David's work around
for the NS87415 and an option to "force-dma" on mainboads with a silly
BIOS.
