Beautiful people (and 3c9xx...)

Thanks guys. Thanks for all the hard work, comments, and input that
culminated in 31pre9.

I was running 30, then 31pre2, on an Alpha Multia, and getting all kinds
of unaligned traps, oops, and the like. I installed pre9 two days ago,
and haven't had to reboot it since. No dmesg output except a few ICMP
redirects. Very happy I have a stable Alpha platform at high loads.
You guys are awesome :)

One note, though, pre9's 3c9xx driver (Boomerang) is still unstable. I
use it on a news server busy enough to warrant two Ethernet cards, and
the 3c9xx is the primary, overloaded, one. I can't run the server 24
hours without transmit buffering problems, eventually leading to a "Aiee
scheduling interrupt" error if I don't reboot it.

The alternative Boomerang driver, from Chris ??? if memory serves, works
like a charm, and is rock solid at high data rates (including packet
loss on the local ethernet).
