My creative CD ROM works fine under 2.0.30. With 2.1.45 and forward, it
no longers work. I haven't tested versions prior to 2.1.45. The system
uncompresses the kernel and displays the message that it is starting to
boot. At that point the system hangs and I have to power off to restart
the system.
