This comtains a sample program that reads the /proc/pcibus directory
and produces a pretty list of the pci devices it finds. It even handles
PCI-to_PCI bridge BARS correctly, something /proc/pci does not.
I included a device list from the PCI LIST web page, but I think it would
be a good idea to keep a database in a data file, and write programs that
can add/edit entries. This would allow an automated driver install
(i.e. from a .rpm or .deb package) to add new device identifiers.
Anyhow, baby steps.
