pre-2.1.51 report

Hi, all. I just tried out 2.1.50 + the pre-2.1.51 patch, and so far
it's mostly working. So, far, I have noticed one thing: the speaker
beep has a higher pitch and shorter duration. Some kind of problem
with a timing loop?
